Upping Sticks.

It's celebrationarama at the (soon to be moving) house of Min. We are upping sticks to the sticks, bypassing the 'burbs and have signed up for a life in the hills outside of Melbourne, just beyond the suburban fringe. A place of spectacular Autumns, potentially snowy Winters, glorious and very floral Springs and somewhat scary fire season Summers.

But with the champas (of which I have not yet partaken of!) comes the packing frenzy that is seeing us contain or chuck 10 plus years of a household together. For two people who aren't big consumers we have an awful lot of stuff some how and it has of course exponentially grown since we became four, and now the pressure's on. We have four weeks until we move in to our sweet little hills cottage and to a lifestyle we've long dreamed of. OK, back to the boxes...

So excited to see more of the house. It is so beautiful up there, have you been to Ripe? I love the setting, could sit there for hours and hours and hours. Friends of ours moved at the end of last year from Blackburn to Upwey, at the base of the mountain. It's a lovely setting but I know this summer with three young ones the mum spent a lot of time at family homes away from the hills. Dad of that family joined the local CFA too, seems like the done thing.

Oh CONGRATS Jasmine. That is so exciting. It looks like the perfect little house in the hills. I am over the moon for you guys and i suspect it is the Dandenongs, funny we should have been moved there by now. We may have been neighbours.
Good luck with the move beautiful lady...
